Vancouver Whitecaps FC host their 2022 MLS home opener at BC Place against New York City FC this Saturday, March 5 at 3 p.m. PT. In addition to making the home opener blue & yellow, the ‘Caps will donate to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal on behalf of everyone who attends Saturday’s match.
Whitecaps FC ended the 2021 MLS regular season by securing a spot in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017. In their nine home matches in Vancouver last season, the 'Caps played to a league best home winning percentage of .830 with a record of 7W-1L-1D.
