VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Fafa Picauly has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday following his performances in the club's match against Houston Dynamo FC in Matchday 28.
Picault recorded two goals and an assist on Saturday night against his former team, along with 10 successful duels, four successful dribbles, two interceptions, two recoveries and 94% passing accuracy. Picault was also named the club's Player of Quality for the match, presented by GE Appliances. With his three goal contributions on Saturday, Picault now has six goal contributions (4 goals, 2 assists) in the past three matches. In total, the Haitian international has 12 goal contributions this season (8 goals, 4 assists).
This is the second time Picault has been selected to the Team of the Matchday this season (Matchday 7).
