VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Friday that forward Fafà Picault has been called up to Haiti's men's national team for an upcoming international friendly this month.
Picault will be joining his national team for a match against French Guiana on March 23. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. PT. The forward will miss the Blue and White's home match against Real Salt Lake on March 23.
Born to Haitian parents, Picault previously represented the United States at the international level but made a one-time switch to Haiti, with whom he has gone on to make five appearances.
Since joining Whitecaps FC back in January, Picault has made four appearances for the club across all competitions.
