VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Fafà Picault has been called up to Haiti's men's national team for upcoming Concacaf 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup Qualifiers in June.
The forward will be joining his national team for a pair of matches in the second round of qualifiers. First up, Haiti face Saint Lucia on Thursday, June 6 at Wildey Turf in Bridgetown, Barbados, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. PT.
Picault and his country will then face Barbados on Sunday, June 9, with kickoff is set for 2 p.m. PT. The match will also take place at Wildey Turf.
Born to Haitian parents, Picault has made six appearances with the national team, with whom he has gone on to play with at the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup and Concacaf Nations League. Picault also made two appearances for the United States men’s national team in 2016 and 2018 before filing a one-time switch to play for Haiti.
Picault has recorded three goals and two assists since joining Whitecaps FC back in January, starting eight of his 14 appearances across all competitions.
