In absolutely no surprise, 'Caps striker Brian White has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 29.
The native of Flemington, New Jersey scored his first career hat-trick in a crucial 3-0 win over Western Conference rivals San Jose Earthquakes at BC Place on Saturday.
The first goal came on 26 minutes, setting up Ryan Gauld for a shot on goal before putting home the rebound.
The second came from a Déiber Caicedo free kick in the 59th minute, heading it into the corner of the net.
Finally in the 73rd minute, White got his head on a corner kick from Gauld to complete his trifecta.
