VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Brian White has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday following his performance in the 'Caps 3-1 away victory over Western Conference side FC Dallas in Matchday 5.
White scored a spectacular diving header to grab his first goal of the season and assisted Mathías Laborda's opening goal of the match. The American also tallied two clearances, three successful aerial duels, and 80% passing accuracy.
White becomes the second 'Caps player to be named to the MLS Team of the Matchday this season, joining wingback Ali Ahmed (Matchday 4).
