Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Super REX attacking talent Andersen Williams scored both goals for Canada in a 2-1 win over Costa Rica at the Concacaf U-17 Women's Championship on Wednesday.
Williams is one of nine players on the team from the 'Caps Super REX program, in partnership with BC Soccer.
Seven 'Caps started the match, with Caitlin Shaw and Teni Akindoju also coming close to scoring.
Canada will play one more match in Group B against the United States on Friday before the knockout round begins. The tournament was originally hosted in Nicaragua in April before riots postponed play, which has resumed this week in Bradenton, Florida.
