ONE LAST RUN: Whitecaps FC 2 are set to play their final match of the MLS NEXT Pro season this Wednesday as they travel down the I-5 to take on Cascadia rivals Timbers2. The match will mark the third and final meeting of the season between the two teams, with the Timbers taking the first meeting via a penalty shootout at Swangard Stadium in April while the young 'Caps claimed a 2-1 win away win at Hillsboro Stadium in July.
LEADING THE WAY: Over the course of the season, the young 'Caps have tallied 38 goals, with a total of 17 players contributing a goal or an assist. Leading the way in goal contributions this season is forward Simon Becher, who's recorded seven goals and three assists. Meanwhile, wingback Ali Ahmed leads the team in assists with five.
