Whitecaps FC may be off this weekend, but WFC2 are back at Swangard Stadium on Saturday when they take on Earthquakes II. The 'Caps MLS NEXT Pro side is rolling with points in four straight matches, including back-to-back wins to lead the Pacific Division. Whitecaps FC head coach Vanni Sartini also noted to media this that members of the first team will be out to support WFC2 on Sunday.
"We'll actually use that game for some of our first team players to have minutes with the second team, and we'll go with the entire team to Swangard to support WFC2 and be a part of this club effort."

A GOOD BYE: With this weekend's previously scheduled MLS match against Seattle rescheduled to June 14, first team head coach Vanni Sartini will be using this match for several of his players to gain valuable minutes in preparation for a hectic month of May. First team players expected include goalkeeper Cody Cropper, centre back Erik Godoy, wingback Marcus Godinho, and attacking midfielder Pedro Vite.
ON A ROLL: WFC2 will be looking for their third consecutive win, and to extend their points streak to five matches. Last time out, the young 'Caps secured a 4-1 victory at home against Sporting KC II, with Simone Masi, Emiliano Brienza, Filip Rakic and Joe Hanson finding the back of the net.
OFFENSIVE CONTRIBUTIONS: Through the opening five matches of the season, 11 players on the WFC2 roster have tallied either a goal or an assist. Leading the way in goal contributions is midfielder Giovanni Aguilar, who's record two goals and an assist.
