DOUBLE TRIP: Playing on the road alongside the first team will provide an opportunity for WFC2 players to get up close to what could be the next step in their careers. Already this season Emiliano Brienza, Ali Ahmed, and Vasco Fry have been called up on MLS short term agreements. And in the other direction, any first team players who need game time could stay to play in Sunday's WFC2 match.
WE MEET AGAIN: WFC2 look to continue their charge to the summit of the Western Conference. Sunday's clash will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams, with WFC2 claiming a 4-1 victory back on April 24 at Swangard Stadium. Following the match, WFC2 will host four consecutive matches at Swangard Stadium from the start of June to the end of the month.
ROAD WARRIORS: In three of their last four road matches, the young 'Caps have tallied two wins and a shootout win, scoring six goals in the process
