VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed today that midfielder Ben McKendry underwent successful surgery for a meniscal tear of his left knee on Wednesday, August 5.
A product of the Whitecaps FC Residency program, the 22-year-old native of Vancouver, BC has scored two goals in 21 appearances with Whitecaps FC 2 this season.
McKendry joined the club’s MLS roster last January following three seasons of collegiate soccer with the University of New Mexico Lobos in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Conference USA.
