This weekend, Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 from 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM, BC Place will be holding a community weekend. This will be a great chance for fans to come check out the home of your Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Fans can enter BC Place through Gate A (Access from Terry Fox Plaza/ Beatty Street).
There will be a plethora of activities for fans to part take in, including tours of the newly renovated BC Place hospitality suites, food tasting on the concourse, soccer-specific activities on the pitch, a visit from Spike, and scarf which you can sign to wish the team well for the remainder of the season.
Perhaps, the biggest attraction for fans will be the chance to go inside the locker room of Whitecaps FC, which will be open to tour. The locker room will be set-up as if the players are ready to take the pitch. You can see the player’s lockers, the coaching staff’s locker room, and see where the players get top of the line treatment to help them recover to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible.
There will also be some major giveaways as well. The first 100 people to come through each day will get a free copy of Bob Lenarduzzi: A Canadian Soccer Story, while you can also enter to win match tickets.
