VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Thursday the launch of the Whitecaps FC Foundation, a new charitable initiative dedicated to harnessing the power of soccer to create stronger and more connected communities.
With a focus on increasing access to the game and promoting environmental sustainability, the foundation will drive meaningful impact both on and off the pitch.
"For over fifty years, Whitecaps FC, our fans and partners have been deeply committed to using the power of soccer to give back to our community," said Jennifer Scott, chair of the Whitecaps FC Foundation. "The launch of the foundation marks a new, exciting chapter in this long legacy of positive community impact."
