VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Gershon Koffie has been given a one-match suspension and fined an undisclosed amount today by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for endangering the safety of his opponent, Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Andy Rose, in the 91st minute of the game on August 18, 2012. Koffie has also been fined an additional amount for making an improper gesture in the 91st minute.
