VANCOUVER, BC – Whitecaps FC announced on Friday that centre back Diego Rodriguez has been loaned from the club’s Major League Soccer (MLS) side to Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) ahead of Sunday's United Soccer League regular season match against Real Monarchs SLC. Tickets remain available for Sunday's match at whitecapsfc.com/wfc2tickets.
Rodriguez joins goalkeeper Marco Carducci, midfielder Ben McKendry, and striker Caleb Clarke on loan from the first team.

Players on loan to USL may compete for both the USL and MLS sides over the course of the season, and will be made available to USL on a week-to-week basis.
