VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC continue their run in the MLS Cup Playoffs this Sunday, November 5, in partnership with TELUS and PlayNow Sports. Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m. PT at BC Place.
For the first time in the club’s MLS history, the upper bowl will be open at BC Place. More than 26,000 tickets have already been sold as the club record nears for attendance at an MLS match.
The ‘Caps need to win Match 2 of their Round One Best-of-3 series against defending MLS Cup champions Los Angeles FC to send it to a deciding third match back in Los Angeles.
Below is important information for fans heading to the match.
Upper Bowl info
Tickets are now available from sections 437-445. For fastest access to seats, fans with tickets in the upper bowl are asked to enter through Gate E and use either the ramp at 239 or 243 to access the 400 level.

Science World = Soccer Ball
In celebration of Sunday's huge match, Science World will be lit up as a giant soccer ball starting on Saturday at sunset up until kickoff on Sunday.
The Warmup pre-match patio party
Whitecaps FC are going BIG for the playoffs. This Sunday, fans are encouraged to join the biggest Warmup pre-match party yet.
Starting at 1 p.m. PT, a full Terry Fox Plaza will feature drinks starting at just $5 with DJ Juice spinning tunes, face painters, and an exclusive player signing on-site.
Rain or shine, the party will be covered, and warm drinks will also be on tap.
Rally towels
Rally towels will be handed out upon entry to the first 15,000 fans.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss out.
Win a TV courtesy of TELUS
Fans should stay tuned to the videoboard during pre-match and halftime and scan the QR code to take part in a game that will land one lucky winner a new TV courtesy of TELUS.
PlayNow Sports row giveaway
Fans should also make sure to be in their seats, as PlayNow Sports will be coming around to give away a special prize to a lucky row.
Parachute toss
Heads up! Fans in their seats at halftime will have the opportunity to catch t-shirts parachuted down from above.
March to the Match
Supporters will lead the March to the Match down Robson Street to BC Place.
The march will depart from Dublin Calling at 3:15 p.m. PT and will also see supporters joining from the Ox Pub on Robson and Granville.
National anthems
The national anthems will feature the return of powerhouse quartet Marie Hui, Arielle Tuliao, Elizabeth Irving, and Ema Lake singing in harmony.
Hitmen Drumline
Keep an eye out on Terry Fox Plaza before the match, in the concourse, and during the match at the top of sections 228/229 for the Hitmen Drumline.
Stand by Me
For every Whitecaps FC win, join the team post-match in the singing of Stand by Me!
Gates
Gates A, C, D, H, E, G, and the Accessible Entrance, located along Pacific Boulevard at section 147, will all be open for entry starting at 3:30 p.m. PT. Gates for suite entry will open at 3 p.m. PT.
Kickoff is officially at 4:55 p.m. PT.
$5 Menu!
BC Place has announced a new $5 menu this year, in collaboration with Sodexo Live! including $5 beer, hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Limited-release items may appear on the menu throughout the year. The $5 Menu is available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands at sections 201 and 227.
Kids Combo
The Kids Combo at Dawson's Hot Dogs (214 and 241) is $6.50 for a hot dog, chips, and fountain soda. The Kids Combo at Lions Gate Grill (228 and 254) is $6.50 for chicken strips, fries, and fountain soda.
Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Matthew Wilson from Special Olympics BC as Kid Captain for Sunday’s MLS Cup Playoffs match against Los Angeles FC.
Matthew is an active athlete with Special Olympics BC’s FUNdamentals program. This program trains young athletes in sport-related motor skills and introduces them to a variety of sports, including soccer and track & field. Matthew is a grade eight student who loves pinball, basketball, Roblox, horseback riding, and playing with his cat Timmy.

The last call for alcohol in the stadium will be the 75th minute of the match.

Clear bags/Bag Check
For ease of entry, Whitecaps FC and BC Place recommend you don’t bring a bag to the stadium. If you do bring a bag, make sure it’s made of clear plastic and smaller than 12”x12”x6”. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag. You can bring one small opaque bag, but it can’t be larger than 6.5”x 8.5”. All bags will be inspected prior to entry.
Mobile entry
All tickets for Whitecaps FC matches are through mobile ticketing, providing a contactless and paperless experience. Season ticket members and pack holders will need to access their tickets through whitecapsfc.com/accountmanager. Single match buyers will access their tickets through Ticketmaster.
Cashless transactions
To reduce the potential for hand-to-hand contact, and to improve the efficiency of payment transactions, BC Place is now a cashless venue.
Concessions and food and beverage vendors will accept all major digital forms of payment including Mobile, Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Cash payments will not be accepted. There will be a Cash to Card kiosk located at Sec 235 where guests can exchange cash for cards to use at the food and beverage locations throughout the stadium.
