VANCOUVER, BC – The 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship Final is here!
Vancouver Whitecaps FC will go for the three-peat against rivals Toronto FC this coming Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. PT at BC Place. The winner will not only be champions of Canada, but also qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup.
Below is important information for fans heading to the match.
Format
- This is a cup final!
- Should the match be tied after 90 minutes, straight to a shootout
- Winner lifts the Voyageurs Cup - created by the Voyageurs Canadian Supporters group, the trophy represents Canadian fans’ commitment to the game in our country
- Tournament MVP will be awarded, named as the George Gross Memorial Trophy Award winner.
- The Young Canadian Player Award is presented to the best Canadian player in the competition 23 years of age or under

Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Hudson Boake as Kid Captain on Wednesday.
Hudson is a spirited eight-year-old who faces life with joy and enthusiasm. With a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, he values staying active as a key part of his routine. He loves kicking a ball and engaging in games that enhance his teamwork and sportsmanship abilities. Soccer is a beloved family tradition that plays an important role in his life.
