VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are on fire! The ‘Caps are unbeaten in six matches, and they will look to make it seven on Saturday as they host Houston Dynamo at BC Place. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The match will also mark the ‘Caps 11th annual Pride Match, presented by BMO. Festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. PT with the second edition of ‘Caps & Queens Drag Happy Hour on Terry Fox Plaza. The event is free, and open to all ages, featuring some of the most talented drag queens in Vancouver – headlined by Venus, winner of Canada’s Drag Race.

Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Stephanie Werner as Kid Captain for Saturday’s home match against Houston Dynamo.
Stephanie has been an active volunteer spending over 150 hours coaching with Surrey United’s Adaptive Super Soccer Program. She has played soccer since the age of five and loves to share her passion for the sport with these inspiring athletes. She cherishes her time spent on the pitch working with her fellow coaches to help children overcome their difficulties and challenges while being supported and encouraged to try their best.

Supporter of the Match
Saturday’s Supporter of the Match will be Kaila Wolf from Rain city Brigade.
Kaila has been a ‘Caps supporter since the Swangard days. Her favourite memories are cheering behind the goal at Swangard with her dad, and her husband meeting her dad for the first time at a ‘Caps game against FC Dallas in 2019. Her favourite part about being a supporter is the sense of community, win or lose.
