For the fourth consecutive year, Vancouver Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi and his son Ryan will participate in Covenant House’s annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition. Bob and Ryan, alongside executives, leaders and public figures from Vancouver, will help to end youth homelessness by raising funds and awareness for this worthy cause.
The annual Sleep Out will take place on November 19 in major cities across North America to raise awareness and funds for youth homelessness and Covenant House. Supplied with just a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard, Bob and Ryan will sleep out on the cold streets of Vancouver to show their support for homeless and at-risk youth. All funds raised will go towards Covenant House programs to get young people off the streets and help them begin new lives.
You can show your support by donating to Bob and Ryan’s fundraising page here:
Covenant House provides shelter for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth by offering short-term residential care through their Crisis Shelter program and longer term care in their transitional living programRights of Passage. Covenant House also offers a Drop in Centre and Street Outreach program for youth. You can learn more about Covenant House Vancouver here.
