Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the defending Voyageurs Cup champs, will host the Canadian Championship Final at 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 7.

Whitecaps FC earned their spot in the final after at Starlight Stadium in Langford, BC on Wednesday night. The ‘Caps path to the final also included a 4-1 road win over CPL side York United FC.
Last year Vancouver claimed the Voyageurs Cup with a thrilling shootout win over Toronto FC in front of 24,307 fans at BC Place.
The ‘Caps will now look to defend their title when they host MLS rivals CF Montréal in two weeks in Vancouver. The winner of the Canadian Championship will secure a spot in the revamped 2024 Concacaf Champions League.
CF Montréal made the final with a 2-0 semifinal home win over CPL side Forge FC at Stade Saputo.
This will be the third time that Whitecaps FC and Montreal meet in the Canadian Championship final. The previous finals were both two legs, with Montreal taking the title on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate draw in 2013, and the ‘Caps returning the favour with a 4-2 aggregate victory in 2015.
