VANCOUVER, BC – It's going to be a special night at BC Place as Vancouver Whitecaps FC defend their Voyageurs Cup title against CF Montréal in the 2023 Canadian championship Final. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. PT.
Below are a few important notes for fans heading to the match in what is expected to be the largest crowd of the season.

50 per cent off drinks
The club will be paying for 50 per cent off of all drinks* starting at 4 p.m. PT at The Warmup patio party on Terry Fox Plaza, and in-stadium until kickoff. This includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
$5 Menu!
BC Place has announced a new $5 menu this year, in collaboration with Sodexo Live!, including $5 beer, hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Limited-release items may appear on the menu throughout the year. The $5 Menu is available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands at sections 201 and 227.

$1 per ticket to League1 BC
Last week, Whitecaps FC announced that one dollar form every ticket will be donated to League1 BC to help clubs host in future tournaments.
Format
This is a cup final, and there must be a winner. If the score is tied after 90 minutes, the match will go straight to a shootout to decide the champion, just as it did in last year's epic finish at BC Place that saw Tristan Blackmon hit the winning shot.
The winner will qualify for the expanded 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup (formerly known as the Concacaf Champions League).
What is the Voyageurs Cup?
The Voyageurs Cup has been awarded to the Canadian Championship winner since 2008. Created by the Voyageurs Canadian Supporters group, the trophy represents Canadian fans’ commitment to the game in our country. At the completion of the competition, the tournament MVP is named as the George Gross Memorial Trophy Award winner. The Young Canadian Player Award is presented to the best Canadian player in the competition 23 years of age or under.
Player arrivals
Fans can meet their favourite 'Caps players, take photos & get autographs. Interested fans should arrive by 4:30 p.m. (players will enter between 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.) at the West entrance gate off Expo Boulevard, and look for the Whitecaps FC staff member to guide them into BC Place! Space is limited, so fans should arrive early.
The Warmup
The Warmup pre-match party features music, food and beverage specials, face painting, soccer jugglers & a player autograph signing!
Gates
Gates A, C, H, E, G, and the Accessible drop-off/pick-up located along Pacific Boulevard at section 147 will all be open for entry starting at 6 p.m. PT. Gates for suite entry will open at 530 p.m. PT.
Kickoff is officially at 7:06 p.m. PT.

Vancouver Smoked Meat Sandwich
BC Place and their food & beverage partners Sodexo Live! have renamed the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich to the Vancouver Smoked Meat Sandwich. It can be found at the Beast Unleashed concession located at section 210.

Whitecaps FC are looking forward to welcoming youth and students from:

National anthems
Prior to the match, a quintet of anthem singers will deliver a stirring rendition of Oh Canada! The five performers include Marie Hui, Ema Lake, Elizabeth Irving, Tiffany Rivera, and Narai Dawn.
SFU Pipe Band
Halftime entertainment will be provided by the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Pipe Band, putting on a show for all fans in attendance.
English & French PA
For the Canadian Championship, PA announcements will be made in both English (Don Andrews) and in French (France Perras).
Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Taegan Ruth as Kid Captain for Wednesday's Canadian Championship Final against CF Montreal.
Teagan was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma back in Nov 2022. Teagan has been through many biopsies, imaging scans, procedures, a major 10-hour surgery and many rounds of chemotherapy that includes at BC Children's Hospital. She has faced each of these encounter’s head on and with grace and gratitude towards her care team.
Supporter of the Match
Wednesday's Supporter of the Match is Michelle Devia from the South Sisters. Michelle is in her second season with the South Sisters. A single mom, her first game is her favourite memory, while it means a lot to be a part of an amazing group of passionate women who, like herself, are super fans of the team.

Family Zone
Check out the RE/MAX Family Zone at section 226, featuring colouring at 'Caps Clubhouse. If it's your first match, don't forget to stop by and pick up your certificate to commemorate the occasion.
Kids Combo
The Kids Combo at Dawson's Hot Dogs (214 and 241) is $6.50 for a hot dog, chips, fountain soda. The Kids Combo at Lions Gate Grill (228 and 254) is $6.50 for chicken strip, fries and fountain soda.
The Asahi Super Dry Landing
The Asahi Super Dry Landing provides the perfect atmosphere to kick back with the squad, entertain clients, or enjoy an evening with the family with the best views in BC Place – right behind the player benches! Asahi Super Dry is also available at sections 203, 209, 234, 248.
Last call
The last call for alcohol in the stadium will be the 75th minute of the match.
Videoboard special messages
Get on the big screen at BC Place! You can get your personalized message on the videoboard during an upcoming Whitecaps FC match. All proceeds go to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Fill out the form at whitecapsfc.com/matchday/videoboard.
Clear bags/Bag Check
For ease of entry, Whitecaps FC and BC Place recommend you don’t bring a bag to the stadium. If you do bring a bag, make sure it’s made of clear plastic and smaller than 12”x12”x6”. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag. You can bring one small opaque bag, but it can’t be larger than 6.5”x 8.5”. All bags will be inspected prior to entry.
Mobile entry
All tickets for Whitecaps FC matches are through mobile ticketing, providing a contactless and paperless experience. Season ticket members and pack holders will need to access their tickets through whitecapsfc.com/accountmanager. Single match buyers will access their tickets through Ticketmaster.
Cashless transactions
In order to reduce the potential for hand-to-hand contact, and to improve the efficiency of payment transactions, BC Place is now a cashless venue. Concessions and food and beverage vendors will accept all major digital forms of payment including Mobile, Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Cash payments will not be accepted. There will be a Cash to Card kiosk located at Sec 235 where guests can exchange cash for cards to use at the food and beverage locations throughout the stadium.
