Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Lucas Cavallini was named to the MLS Team of the Week bench on Tuesday for his performance against Sporting Kansas City in Week 14.
The Canadian international scored his fourth goal of the season with a chipped finish from the penalty spot in the first half, while tallying one big chance created, one dribble, four accurate long balls and a game-high 14 duels won.
El Tanque becomes the first 'Caps player to be named to the Team of the Week twice this season, after previously receiving recognition for his game-winning penalty kick in the club's 2-1 win over FC Dallas in Week 12.
