Vancouver Whitecaps FC made a special visit to Grandview Elementary on Monday afternoon. As part of a community partnership between Whitecaps FC and KidSafe Project Society, Grandivew Elementary was visited where underpriviliged children take part in summer camps.
Club ambassador Carl Valentine led 'Caps MLS players Greg Klazura, Matt Watson, Carlyle Mitchell, Brian Sylvestre and Darren Mattocks as well as Girls Elite players Lucille Kozlov and Kayla Klim in a camp to show off their skills to some very supportive 'Caps fans. This was a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn new soccer skills, get active and meet some of their soccer heroes.
