Join us in your favourite denim Saturday at BC Place for our annual Jeans Day match in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF)! The match against Philadelphia Union is set to kick off at 2 p.m. PT and tickets are still available.
BCCHF will be selling awesome Jeans Day buttons for $5 and pins for $20 at ‘Caps Kickoff pre-match and along the concourse. All proceeds will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital. Buttons and pins can also be purchased at participating retail locations across BC leading up to Jeans Day on May 2.
Whitecaps FC midfielder Russell Teibert is one of this year’s Jeans Day ambassadors, along with Brock Boeser (Vancouver Canucks) and Cody Husband (BC Lions).
“BC Children’s has been close to my heart since moving to Vancouver over 10 years ago,” Teibert said. “The positive impact that they make in the community is immeasurable.”
Since the first Jeans Day in 1990, BCCHF has been able to raise over $21 million to improve the care of BC’s kids, helping to conquer childhood diseases, prevent illness and injury, and prioritize the unique needs of kids in every aspect of their care.
There’s no better reason to wear jeans to Saturday’s match, so #JeanUp and show your support for BC’s kids and BC Children’s Hospital.
