Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Hope and Health will be holding a boot drive on Wednesday, July 5 when the ‘Caps take on star-studded New York City FC at BC Place. Every pair of donated boots will make a difference in the lives of the Aboriginal children and youth who attend Hope and Health each year.
Hope and Health is building a soccer-based movement that engages Indigenous youth and children to improve long term health and life outcomes. Whitecaps FC are committed to making an impact in the community by supporting initiatives that help youth build better lives, especially through the beautiful game of soccer.
Gently-used or new boots will be collected at ‘Caps Kickoff from 5:30 p.m to 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday, July 5. In exchange for the donated cleats, you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two pairs of boots autographed by Jordan Harvey or Russell Teibert and a team-signed jersey.
