On February 12, a group of ‘Caps players visited BC Children’s Hospital.
The 'Caps started out in the playroom where defender Greg Klazura got wrapped up in a heated game of air hockey. Tied down to the last play of the game, Greg was defeated by his smart, young opponent. Meanwhile goalkeeper Brad Knighton, defender Jordan Harvey, head coach Martin Rennie, and club ambassador Carl Valentine took turns getting to know the other children and families at the hospital.
Whitecaps FC players then made their way down to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). They were greeted by a gracious host who took them on a tour to meet a number of parents and their children. During this tour the 'Caps helped bring positive distractions and some smiles to the families.
