Whitecaps FC superfan included in FIFA 17, featured in The SPORT Bible

Kenton Doust FIFA

You remember Kenton Doust.

As we mentioned last week, he’s the young Vancouver Whitecaps FC superfan who overcame three brain tumours, four months of chemo, and 25 sessions of radiation to beat cancer – while developing a special relationship with Russell Teibert and a few other ‘Caps along the way.

He's a great kid with a great story. And today, it got even better.

The 15-year-old Comox, B.C. native was included in EA Sports FIFA 17 and subsequently featured in The SPORT Bible, a popular online sports community with over 10 million combined followers on Facebook and Twitter, and several other major outlets around the world.

He even got a tweet from Spanish La Liga forward Cédric Bakambu.

Turns out Doust's inclusion in FIFA 17 was made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, who also arranged a special experience for him at the EA Campus in Burnaby and helped him meet Mexican national team head coach Juan Carlos Osorio at the Canada vs. Mexico game earlier this year – as per Doust's wish.

Doust also got his own customized FIFA 17 legend card, as he tweeted below.

That pace tho.

For those looking to add Doust to their FIFA Ultimate Team in the game, they can find him by searching the “Staff” category as a “Silver” Head Coach. As Head Coach, Doust can help add a five per cent boost when any “Shooting” attribute card is added to a player. Doust’s value is on the rise so if you’d like to add him to your squad, you better pick him up off the transfer market quick!
