In preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Canada's men's national team captured a comfortable 2-0 victory against Qatar in an international friendly on Friday at Franz Horr Stadium in Vienna, Austria.
Canada opened the scoring early on, as Cyle Larin headed home a cross from former 'Caps homegrown Sam Adekugbe to give Canada the lead in the fourth minute.
It wouldn't take long for Canada to double their lead. In the 13th minute, Jonathan David smashed in a loose ball in the area, scoring his 22nd career goal for the national team.
Canada continued to create plenty of opportunities, while limiting Qatar's opportunities, but the score would remain until the final whistle.
