Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team will face Iran in an international friendly match at BC Place on Sunday, June 5. The match will form part of a two-match homestand this June in Vancouver, British Columbia with the first match against Iran on Sunday, June 5 followed by Canada’s opening match of the 2022-2023 Concacaf Nations League A schedule against Curaçao on Thursday, June 9. Canada will finish the June FIFA window with an away match against Honduras in San Pedro Sula on Monday, June 13.
Canada and Iran are both preparing for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢. Canada has been drawn into Group F alongside Belgium, Serbia and Morocco while Iran has been drawn into Group B alongside England, USA and a European Playoff winner still to be decided.
Tickets for the two BC Place matches will go on sale to the public on Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.ca. In advance of the public on sale, members of Canada Soccer’s CanadaRED fan membership program will have access to purchase tickets via exclusive presale windows. On Thursday 12 May, CanadaRED+GOLD members will have access to an initial priority presale window, followed by CanadaRED+WHITE members later that same day. On Friday 13 May, all CanadaRED members will have access to an advance presale window. Fans looking to attend both matches will be able to purchase a two-match package to save 25% on individual match tickets. In addition to the savings, the two-match package ensures the same seat for both games.
Canada’s friendly match as well as both Concacaf Nations League A matches will be broadcast live on OneSoccer. The Canada v Iran match kicks off at 4 p.m. PT on Sunday, June 5 while the Canada v Curaçao match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 9. Fans will find extended coverage across Canada Soccer’s digital channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube featuring the hashtag #CANMNT.
This will mark Canada’s first two home matches since qualifying for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ after finishing first overall in the Concacaf Final Round. It will also mark the Men’s National Team’s first match at BC Place since a 4-1 win over French Guiana on March, 24 2019 in Concacaf Nations League Qualifying.

Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team are the reigning Kings of Concacaf, having finished first overall in the Concacaf Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers from September 2021 to March 2022. It marked the third time that Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team won a Concacaf title, having previously won the 1985 Concacaf Championship and the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup. Canada now look forward to their second participation at the men’s FIFA World Cup with group matches against Belgium on 23 November, Croatia on 27 November, and Morocco on 1 December.
