It was a triumphant first match for Canada on their Gold Medal celebration tour, defeating New Zealand 5-1 on Saturday in Ottawa, Ontario.
Jessie Fleming opening the scoring from the penalty spot, conjuring up memories from the OIympic run.
And the second goal? Who else but Christine Sinclair, poaching the ball and finishing with aplomb.
Nichelle Prince then rounded the goalkeeper in the box to make it 3-0.
After New Zealand cut it to 3-1 with a penalty kick of their own, Adriana Leon scored following a slick passing sequence to make it a 4-1.
And finally on yet another set-up from Janine Beckie, Leon finished a rebound to make it a 5-1 final.
Canada play the second match of their celebration tour this coming Tuesday, October 26 at Stade Saputo in Montreal, Quebec.
