HOME SWEET HOME: Having won two of their last three matches, Whitecaps FC 2 will look to continue racking up points in a tight Western Conference this Sunday, June 2 as they host The Town FC at Swangard Stadium. The young 'Caps played their first match at the newly renovated Swangard last weekend, claiming a 1-0 victory over Ventura County FC thanks to Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau's third goal of the season. Sunday will mark the second of four consecutive home matches for WFC2, with matches against LAFC2 (June 9) and MNUFC2 (June 13) coming up later this month.

WELCOME MYLES MORGAN: On Friday, WFC2 announced the permanent signing of Canadian forward Myles Morgan. The 18-year-old has already made six appearances with WFC2 in MLS NEXT Pro this season as an amateur player, including two starts. The native of Toronto, Ontario previously played with Toronto FC II, scoring two goals in nine appearances during the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season. At the international level, Morgan has recently represented Canada at the U-20 national team level. The young striker stood out with four goals in only two matches at 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship qualifying.
