A month ago, the two teams settled for a 2-2 draw at the University of Denver Stadium in Denver, Colorado, with Rapids 2 claiming the shootout win. WFC2 striker Easton Ongaro scored his first two goals for the club that day.
EYES ON WRIGHT: In the team's last match against St. Louis CITY2, new striker Lowell Wright made his WFC2 debut, coming off the bench late. The former York United FC man, who's previously been called up to Canada's Men's U-20 side, tallied seven goals as well as five assists in 44 appearances across all competitions for the Canadian Premier League side.
