FIVE PIECE: Whitecaps FC 2 enter Matchweek 15 action as one of the most in-form teams in MLS NEXT Pro. The young 'Caps are currently riding a four-game winning streak, marking the first time they've won four straight since April 2022. During that span, the team has scored 12 goals and kept two clean sheets. Next on the docket, WFC2 will be looking to win five straight matches for the first time on Sunday as face Ventura County FC for the third time this season. In fact, the winning streak began with a 1-0 victory over Ventura at Swangard Stadium on May 26. Ventura won the first meeting of the season on April 7 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The Ottawa, Ontario native was selected 74th overall by Whitecaps FC in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft and leads the team in goals with five, with four of those being game-winners. Chateau has also tallied three assists and is tied for fifth in shots on target per 90 in the league with 1.6.
