VANCOUVER, BC – The ‘Caps strengthened their eSports team heading into the final phase of qualifying for the 2021 FIFAe World Cup.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Monday that the club has signed Agit Katilmis, known by the handle AgitPower, as the club’s third FIFA player, joining Alex “Exraa” Gonzalez and Erfan “Skill Shack” Hosseini.

AgitPower is currently the top ranked Canadian and fourth ranked Playstation player in North America. He will represent the club during the 2022 eMLS season. Nearer term, AgitPower will be playing for the ‘Caps at the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series North American playoffs broadcast live from June 18 to 20.
The club now has both the country’s top Playstation player in AgitPower, and one of Canada’s top two Xbox players in Exraa.
“We are building the best FIFA eSports team in Canada, and we have the talent to prove it,” said Tyler Wilson, Whitecaps FC FIFA eSports general manager. “We’re pumped to welcome Agit to the team. Agit has been a force all season long in both the Global Series and with the Canadian national team. We’re looking forward to having him represent the club.”
In recent years the proud Canadian has qualified for several international tournaments. In 2019, he made the quarterfinals of the worldwide Gfinity FIFA Series in London, falling to eventual champion StefanoPinna of Belgium. He also qualified for the FUT Champions Cup 2019 tournaments in Singapore and Bucharest, the FIFA 20 Summer Series North America, and the FUT Champions Cup 2020 tournament in Bucharest.

The native of Laval, Quebec recently represented the Canada Soccer eNational Team in April during FIFAe Nations Cup Qualifiers, teaming up GoalMachine21 to take on Puerto Rico, United States, Costa Rica, and Mexico. During the international competition, AgitPower compiled a record for 5W-1L-2D, including a record of 2W-1L-1D against top ranked North American Playstation player COL Joksan.
