VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC will participate in the first annual Pacific Rim Cup on February 8 and 10 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Both Whitecaps FC matches will be produced by Ariake Broadcasting and available for live streaming on whitecapsfc.com.
Whitecaps FC players will report for preseason training camp at the start of the fourth week of January. The team will depart for the Aloha State on Wednesday, January 31. The remainder of the club's preseason schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
Whitecaps FC will be joined by MLS Eastern Conference side Columbus Crew SC, J1 League club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, and Fukushima Prefectural Football League Division 1 side Iwaki FC.
Blue United Corporation is the host organization for the inaugural Pacific Rim Cup.

Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, established in 1996, is a member of Japan’s J1 League, based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. The name of the team “Consadole” was selected from the public. Consadole derives from the combination of the two; “dosanko”, meaning Hokkaido people, reading reverse, and “Ole” from Latin.
