VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to take on San Jose Earthquakes at 7 p.m. PT (TSN1, TSN 1410) at BC Place. Here's everything you need to know about Vancouver's lineup.

Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes two changes to his starting XI that played last Saturday against D.C. United, with Steven Beitashour and Erik Hurtado replacing Ethen Sampson and Darren Mattocks.


Goalkeeper David Ousted, who is tied for the league lead with eight clean sheets, will be making his 40th consecutive MLS start with the club, which is the most on the team. Ousted is the only ‘Caps player this year to start and play every minute of MLS regular season action – one of six keepers in the league this season to do so for his side including San Jose Earthquakes keeper Jon Busch.


Right back Steven Beitashour returns to the starting XI after missing last match with a hip injury. Beitashour will be making his 107th start in MLS regular season play, which includes 86 starts with his hometown San Jose Earthquakes.


Centre back Andy O’Brien, who joined the club midway through the 2012 season, will be making his 42nd MLS regular season start.



Centre back Kendall Waston, who was named Budweiser Man of the Match last Saturday, will make his third consecutive start and fourth appearance for the club.


Left back Jordan Harvey, who holds the Whitecaps FC MLS record by a defender in appearances, starts, minutes played and goals, will be making his 181st MLS regular season appearance tonight. Harvey is 51 minutes away 15,000 MLS regular season minutes played.


Newest Whitecaps FC player Mauro Rosales will be making his third consecutive start and fourth appearance for Vancouver. Tonight will be Rosales' 92nd start in MLS and his 111th appearance.


Midfielder Matías Laba will be making his 41st regular season appearance in MLS and 25th as a member of Whitecaps FC.



Midfielder Pedro Morales, who leads the club with seven goals and nine assists, will be making his 22nd MLS regular season start tonight. He needs one more assist to break Russell Teibert and Davide Chiumiento’s club record of nine assists in a single MLS regular season.


Teibert will be making his fifth consecutive start for the first time since April when he started six straight matches. Teibert, who joined the club in August 2009 when he was 15, is the longest serving player in Vancouver.


Hurtado returns to the striker position tonight for his 14th MLS regular season start of the season and 18th as a professional.


First year MLS winger/striker Sebastián Fernández will be making his 19th start, second straight match in the striker position, for Whitecaps FC.

Centre back Johnny Leverón is away on international duty playing for Honduras in the 2014 Copa Centroamericana.
