Grosso, a Vancouver native who set up Canada’s game-winning goal against Cameroon in their tournament opener, is one of six Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX players on Canada’s roster. The Red and White currently sit atop Group B with four points heading into Friday’s group stage finale vs. Venezuela (9 a.m. PT on TSN1 and TSN4).
A win or draw would clinch Canada’s berth in the quarter-finals.
