The semifinals for Euro 2016 get underway Wednesday with a clash between Wales and Portugal, followed by a heavyweight matchup between France and Germany on Thursday.
Interestingly, English Premier League club Crystal Palace FC, who will be facing the ‘Caps in an international friendly on July 19 at BC Place, have the second most players remaining in the tournament (5). Only German powerhouse Bayern Munich have more.

The five Crystal Palace players are goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and midfielders Joe Ledley and Jonathan Williams of Wales and midfielder Yohan Cabaye and recently-signed goalkeeper Steve Mandanda of host France. Ledley (pictured), whose dance moves have been a big hit, and Hennessey have both started Wales’ last four matches.
