Whitecaps FC visit BC Children's Hospital

BC Children's Hospital

On September 11, Vancouver Whitecaps FC made a special visit to BC Children’s Hospital where players and staff interacted with children and their families.
Whitecaps FC started in the playroom where they visited young ‘Caps enthusiasts, signing autographs and posing for pictures.
Smiles were everywhere and spirits were high as the team made their way through the hospital visiting and getting to know some very special children and their families. Goalkeepers Joe Cannon and David Ousted, defenders Jordan Harvey and Brad Rusin, midfielder Gershon Koffie, and strikers Kekuta Manneh, Tommy Heinemann, and Omar Salgado were in attendance along with head coach Martin Rennie, club ambassador Carl Valentine, and ‘Caps president Bob Lenarduzzi.
During the tour, the 'Caps helped bring positive distractions and smiles to the kids and families in need of a boost.
Whitecaps FC would like to thank all the patients and staff at BC Children’s Hospital for inviting us over!
