VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC will host the club’s ninth annual Pride Match, presented by Socios.com, this coming Saturday, July 23 as the ‘Caps take on Chicago Fire FC at BC Place. Kickoff for Saturday’s match is set for 7 p.m. PT.

Here are a few things that fans can expect.
FANNY PACKS
The first 2,000 fans to enter the gates at BC Place will receive a Whitecaps FC Pride mystery fanny pack.
PRIDE LOGO
The club has unveiled a special Whitecaps FC Pride logo which will be featured throughout the stadium and on the club’s social channels.
The logo was designed by local artist Christina Hryc, also known as Boots. Her style utilizes fluid line drawings on bold bright colourfield, often layered with floral and geometric pattern that seeks to emulate layers of graffiti with references to personal nostalgia, queer culture, and pop iconography. She has completed murals in the United States, Central America, Mexico, and Canada.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Whitecaps FC are proud to welcome Sher Vancouver, Rainbow Refugee, Vancouver Rogues Rugby, Vancouver Pride Society, and other groups who provide support and resources to the LGBTQ+ community.
THE WARMUP
The ‘Caps pre-match street party is back at Terry Fox Plaza.

PRIDE ON THE PITCH
As in past years, the ‘Caps will again have Pride coloured nets, corner flags, and now in the player tunnel during walkout at BC Place. The players will also have Pride warm-up tops as well as a Pride coloured captain’s armband.
Whitecaps FC are unbeaten all-time when the club hosts it's annual Pride Match, with a 7W-0L-1D record since 2013.
