The Blue and White will
be looking to set a new club record on Saturday
. The ‘Caps current 10-match home unbeaten streak is tied as the club’s longest ever at BC Place, and is also tied with Columbus Crew SC as the longest current home unbeaten streak in the league.
Whitecaps FC are 2-1-0 to start the season. After a home win over Montreal and a road victory at Houston, the ‘Caps suffered their first defeat in Atlanta this past weekend following a controversial red card in the first half to centre back Kendall Waston, which was
rescinded by the Independent Panel
on Friday. In 2017, Carl Robinson’s team posted an impressive 10-1-1 record in MLS play after a loss and did not suffer consecutive defeats in league play after March 18, 2017.
