VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that the club has recalled defender Jackson Farmer and striker Marlon Ramirez from United Soccer Leagues (USL) PRO affiliate Charleston Battery.
Both players will be eligible to play for the club’s U-23 team in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), while Farmer will also be eligible to play for the ‘Caps U-18 Residency team in United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) and for the first team in the upcoming Amway Canadian Championship. Farmer, 19, has started two of his three appearances for the Battery this season, playing the full 90 minutes in both starts.
Ramirez, 19, made his Battery debut last Sunday, playing 60 minutes against Rochester Rhinos.
