VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that tickets for the decisive second leg of the 2013 Amway Canadian Championship final will go on sale Thursday, May 2 at 12 p.m. PT on ticketmaster.ca/whitecapsfc. Tickets to the Wednesday, May 29 match are included in 2013 Whitecaps FC season ticket packages.
With the semifinal against FC Edmonton successfully navigated, Whitecaps FC now find themselves in the ACC final for the third time in the three years since the tournament switched to a knockout format. For the first time, however, Whitecaps FC will face Montreal Impact for the right to host the Voyageurs Cup after the Impact downed Toronto FC 6-2 on aggregate.
The 'Caps last faced Montreal in the 2012 MLS season opener, a 2-0 victory over the Impact at BC Place.
Montreal, the current Eastern Conference leaders, will host the first leg at Stade Saputo on Wednesday, May 15. Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m. PT. The return leg will be held at BC Place on Wednesday, May 29, with kickoff at 7 p.m. PT.
