– The Whitecaps FC Development Squad took home a 1-0 shootout victory over the SK Selects on Thursday at the SK Summer Soccer Series.
The young 'Caps featured six teenagers in the starting lineup. After a back-and-forth 0-0 match through regulation, the two sides went to the spot to decide a winner.
In the end, the 'Caps were most clinical with their spot kicks and local Saskatoon product Thomas Hasal stood tall in net as the ‘Caps came away victorious.
