VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Thursday the club’s five preseason matches at the 2023 Coachella Valley Invitational. The ’Caps three-week camp in Southern California will take place in advance of the 2023 season, which will include MLS action, Concacaf Champions League, Canadian Championship, and Leagues Cup.

The ’Caps will arrive in California on Monday, January 30 and kick off their exhibition schedule with a 45-minute game against Eastern Conference opponents D.C. United on Wednesday, February 1 at 1 p.m. PT.
Next up, the ‘Caps will face another Eastern Conference side in the form of Charlotte FC on Saturday, February 4. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. PT.
The third match will see Vancouver take on their Canadian rivals Toronto FC on Wednesday, February 8, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. PT.
In their penultimate match, the ‘Caps will face newest MLS expansion side St. Louis CITY SC on Sunday, February 12. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT.
Finally, the Blue and White take on fellow Western Conference side Minnesota United FC in their last match of the invitational on Saturday, February 18, with kickoff set for 10 a.m. PT. Following the match, the ‘Caps will return to Vancouver to continue preparations for the 2023 season.
