Vancouver Whitecaps FC defeated LA Galaxy 2-1 on Saturday night to conclude the preseason with a 5W-1L-1D record. See below for a complete recap of Vancouver’s preseason campaign.

- February 6: 4-0 win over Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo (Parker, Kamara, Parker, Ibini): Tim Parker buries a pair of set pieces, Kei Kamara scores his first goal in a Whitecaps FC uniform, and 15-year-old Whitecaps FC Residency midfielder/forward Simon Colyn helps set up Bernie Ibini’s stoppage time tally.
- February 8: 1-0 win over Iwaki FC (Techera): Cristian Techera chips in a cheeky 90th-minute penalty drawn by Kamara to seal the victory for Vancouver.
- February 10: 1-0 loss to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo: An 85th-minute goal from Ken Tokura is the difference as the ‘Caps fall in the Pacific Rim Cup Final.
- February 17: 3-2 win over Las Vegas Lights FC (Techera, Davies, Kamara): Alphonso Davies steals the show with a mesmerizing end-to-end effort in a hotly contested match that included a red card, two penalties, and two coach ejections.
- February 18: 4-4 draw with Los Angeles Football Club (Blondell, Blondell, Reyna, Reyna): Anthony Blondell puts on a show for Vancouver, scoring two goals and recording two assists in an entertaining draw with MLS newcomers LAFC.
- February 21: 2-0 win over LA Galaxy (Blondell, Kamara): Blondell and Kamara finish a pair of crosses in each half as the ‘Caps defeat LA in a closed-door scrimmage.
- February 24: 2-1 win over LA Galaxy (Kamara, Davies): Kamara scores his team-leading fourth goal of the preseason on a penalty drawn by Techera and Davies smashes home the eventual winner in Vancouver’s preseason finale.
