VANCOUVER, BC – Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) will play their first-ever home match on Sunday, April 19 against Toronto FC II at UBC Thunderbird Stadium, it was announced on Saturday as USL PRO released details for each club’s 2015 home opener.
The announcement comes on the heels of the unveiling of Alan Koch as WFC2 head coach. Koch’s side will play a total of 28 matches from March to September, including 14 at UBC Thunderbird Stadium. The full 2015 USL PRO schedule will be announced on Monday.

WFC2 Open Tryout presented by adidas
The club will host its inaugural WFC2 Open Tryout, presented by adidas, on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22 on David Sidoo Field at UBC Thunderbird Stadium. At least one participant from the open tryout is guaranteed to be invited to take part in WFC2 preseason training camp and be given an opportunity to earn a spot on the inaugural WFC2 roster.
