MARBELLA, SPAIN – Vancouver Whitecaps FC continues their 2025 preseason in Marbella, Spain with their second friendly of the camp this Wednesday, January 29 as they face Irish side St. Patrick's Athletic FC. Kickoff is set for 5 a.m. PT (2 p.m. local time). The match will be available to watch on the club's YouTube channel.

Road to Kickoff
Following Wednesday's match, Vancouver will look ahead to their third friendly of the camp against FC LNZ Cherkasy of the Ukrainian Premier League on Sunday, February 2, with kickoff set for 5 a.m PT / 2 p.m. local time. The team will wrap-up the camp against Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna on Thursday, February 6, with kickoff set for 6 a.m. PT / 3 p.m. local time.
After concluding their camp in Spain, the ’Caps will return to Vancouver on February 8 in advance of their Concacaf Champions Cup Round One first leg at Deportivo Saprissa. The team will depart to San José, Costa Rica on February 18 ahead of the match on February 20.
The ’Caps will stay on the road to open their 2025 MLS regular season campaign with a Cascadia clash against Portland Timbers on February 23 at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon.
The team will then travel back to Vancouver to prepare for the Concacaf Champions Cup Round One second leg against Saprissa on February 27 at BC Place. Vancouver will host MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy in their regular season home opener at BC Place on Sunday, March 2.

The 'Caps kicked off their 2025 preseason schedule with a friendly against Raków Częstochowa last Friday, with the Polish side claiming a narrow 3-2 win.
Whitecaps FC started strong as captain Ryan Gauld nearly set-up the first goal but it was cleared for a corner in the 11th minute. One minute later, Vancouver opened the scoring thanks to their centre back partnership. Tristan Blackmon's long throw-in was headed in at the back post by Ranko Veselinović, giving the 'Caps the 1-0 lead.
Rakow would equalize in the 30th minute, but the 'Caps regained their lead just before the halftime interval. This time, it was Blackmon's turn, as he headed in a corner from Sebastian Berhalter to make it 2-1 at the break for the 'Caps.
The Blue and White made a full line change at the break. Second half saw Rakow score a pair of goals to claim the 3-2 victory.
