VANCOUVER, BC – The 2014 Whitecaps FC Goal of the Year competition, presented by Budweiser, has come to an end. And while Erik Hurtado’s ankle-breaking goal vs. Seattle was crowned King of Goals (justifiably, we should add), there were plenty of other ‘Caps goals that were easy on the eyes this past season.
Hurtado’s winner was one of eight tallies included in the Goal of the Year competition. Below, you’ll find eight more that were considered.
