Another month is in the books! Voting is now open for the Whitecaps FC Player of the Month, presented by Coldwell Banker. Here are the nominees for May:
Tim Parker: Scored a goal vs. Sporting KC and named man of the match vs. Colorado, helping the 'Caps keep clean sheets in both matches. Led the team with 17 clearances and 24 duels won in MLS play.
Brek Shea: Scored two goals and helped set up another in Vancouver’s 2-1 win over Montreal.
Cristian Techera: Scored a spectacular volley in a 2-0 win over Sporting KC and recorded an assist in Tuesday’s 4-2 defeat at Montreal.
Sheanon Williams: Helped the ‘Caps keep clean sheets against Colorado and Sporting KC, recorded an assist vs. KC, named man of the match vs. D.C. United, and led the team with nine interceptions in MLS play.
